Who We Are

Nelson’s Bitterroot Creations was born out of a simple idea — make things the right way, not the fast way. From our small workshop in North Idaho, we handcraft everything from spice mixes and slate coasters to rolling trays and cribbage boards. Nothing here is mass-produced, and nothing leaves the shop until it’s something we’d proudly put our own name on.

We’re not a big company, just a small operation that believes craftsmanship, integrity, and a good sense of humor still matter. We build, blend, and create because we love the process — the smell of sawdust, the sound of a grinder, and the satisfaction of seeing raw materials turn into something useful and lasting.

We also believe good value doesn’t come from cutting corners. We sacrifice profit margin to deliver higher quality and keep our products affordable for real people, not corporate shareholders. Our goal is simple: make something worth owning, and make it last.

We reuse packaging whenever possible to reduce waste, so your order might show up in an “ugly box” — but what’s inside is always top-notch.
